Description
116 yards in length, 48 ft. high it holds 3 million cubic metres in a lake on which you can go canoeing.
A 9 mile sign-posted footpath circles it for those who like long walks (4 hours) through the woods and on the river-banks. There is an impressive waterfall when the water levels are high. A cafeteria with terrace is open all year as from 10AM. A few miles from the dam, at the "Belvédère" in Nadrin, terrific view on the "Hérou" major site and the gorges of the Ourthe.
